    Micro Fibre Cloths

    Hi
Just wanted to know what kind of quality grade you use of microfibre cloths in US? I manufacture them and sell in over 60 countries now with the exception of US. We now have a nano fibre cloth with anti-fogging and scent at very special prices. Interested practices please check out our site www.oclcgroup.com
    Thanks:)

Scented cloths. Intriguing. I've never heard of such a thing. You may do better by posting this on the main board.

    Redhot Jumper

Microfiber cloth were useful on AR coated lenses without any of the new slickcoats on them to grab the dirt and fat between the crystals. Now that you have a closed slippery surface there is no more need for them.

Good point. We do a lot of 3rd party jobs for Family/Medical services. They don't get the coatings. Also I'm having a Jacqui moment here

Regular Customers who buy the newest coatings NEVER HAVE TO BUY ONE OF THOSE PESKY CLOTHS EVER AGAIN!

even though the lens manufacturers still include them with lenses. there must be a better reason.... :D

    New high-tech microfibre cloths

I beg to differ dear colleagues. All lenses need to be looked after and I'm not saying that simply to keep manufacturing my cloths he he. The new coatings are very effective indeed and as such the microfibre industry hasn't moved with the times until now. Our technology actually uses high grade fibres and also we use half the amount of strands then a conventional cloth. The cloth is softer and picks up dirt more readily. The NaNo i cloths are such cloths with the exception of having anti-fogging agents and also scents too. The scents was a late idea really and can be removed from process easily.
The cloth can be washed for upto a dozen times and still perform like new.
Some major lens manufacturers have already placed orders for 2009 for our cloths which will be branded with their messages and be supplied with all surfaced lenses. So now that the selling job has been done here, please place your orders via the e-mail address below LOL
To be serious, I am looking for a distributor/s for USA and am very keen to investigate all avenues of distribution as this is not an optician only product, it can be used for cameras, laptops, mirrors, lipstick casings, and many other products thus very versatile.
The proof is in the pudding and I will send free samples to anyone interested. Kindly e-mail me on xavier@oclcgroup.com

    HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL
    regards
