Nickel presence on plastic frames?

Recently , a custumer asked us to confirm the absence of Nickel in a plastic frame or in our lenses .
Obviously the Nickel is not present in any kind of surface coating on lenses But i don't know if there is the possibility to find Nickel in some colors used to tint plastic frames.
Anyone can give me more information??

Optical dyes are aqueous dispersion dyes (water soluble) combined with some surfactants to prolong life span and do not contain any metals.

Solvent dyes can contain some metals, but as far as I know they are not being used in the optical trade, unles they have to fuse with the basic plastic material.

There may be nickel in the exposed hinges, any metal decoration on the frame, etc.
