You don't think lenses (comparable technology) are cheaper today? Compare price lists for SV stock and compare today's prices w/ those of 10 years ago. Even volume aside, I'd say they're cheaper.

Youare right on SV because avery other chinese manufacturer turns them out cheap...........how about your progressives, that is the moneymaker for them.

Progressives are cheaper as well. (Of course not the very latest technology, but in any sector that is always a premium)

Radius Optical Lab in Texas sells a new progressive named Conquest in both long and short corridor that works great. No patient complaints at
about 1/2 the price.
