I despise SNOW!!!!

We had our first snow accumulation this morning. We had about 3".

You would have thought it was 3 FEET of the blasted stuff.

It is KOOL though........I dig a usual 15 minute morning commute turning into an 1 1/2 hour "Inch-Along-Fest". Oh, and the day went downhill from there!

Fezz buddy, don't feel bad, it even snowed here. They closed the schools just north of here for what amounted to less than 1 inch. If it stays this cold, I may be able to ice skate at the beach.;)

I'm counting the days (18) 'till vacation in the caribbean.:p

No snow here in Central Texas! It did drop down to a bone chilling 40 degrees last night.

As far as the commute, I live 3 miles from the office and walk to work. My commute is roughly 40 minutes.

With the economy the way it is, I wouldn't be opposed to a boarder.

It's snowing here again (or maybe still ;) ) Forecast is for another inch or so on top of what we already have. But gas prices did go down again :D :D :D

yeah, i do not know how I feel about the law. I will say that they are supposed to stop up to 60 feet sooner than all season tires. So getting them just makes sense.


Anyways, anyone who has me on facebook knows that I think winter is stupid.

We headed up to NY this morning and hit opening day of ski season! Although the terrain parks aren't open yet, we had the place pretty much to ourselves, and got in a good 6 hours on the slopes. I think I even got sunburned.

It was awesome!

My wife and I never liked the snow, but living where we do, when our son was born, we decided that we should find something we can do as a family. Skiing fits the bill, and I look a heck of a lot better in a ski suit than a bathing suit. No need to diet for the slopes!

You could have the best of both worlds if you followed Snitgirl to Vancouver. It is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and very temperate.......The best part is while basking in the 70 degree sunshine filled days, you can look off in the distance to see all the snow you want in the mountains beyond the city. Awsome place!

I think the reason Snitgirl and Mullo don't talk about it much is because they don't want everyone to move up there. I kid you not, the city is beautiful, the residents are friendly, the weather is wonderful. They have the most wonderful public park I have ever seen. (Stanley Park) Simply put, just a great place.

Only if you have Quebec plate in the back of your car. Yhey have also a exception for Snowbirds atfer Dec 15, but you need to get a weekly pass until you leave to get around the big fine.
