I just wanted to thank the many Optiboarders who took the time and made the effort to support my contributions, juvenile and derivative though they may be. The poll was particularly gratifying, and it's really good to know that with most Optiboarders, I achieved my aim--spreading a few laughs about.
I don't know if I'll post again as I don't want to create dissension within the ranks. Again, though, my thanks.
Oh and one more thing:
Please apologize to my toilet humour!

Thank you for giving us something to laugh about. In general, I don't think your posts caused that much of an issue, you just stepped over the line on your last one when it comes to a professional board. Your other posts were full of great satire. Especially the first one! :D

Every profession in this world needs a mirror to look themselves in a humorous way. You have provided that mirror and made a difference.

As we all continously go through a life long learning process, you have apologized for the mistake you made and I hope you will be forgiven.

Thanks for the humor, Borysko. Because this is a very public "face" for opticianry world-wide, I can understand Steve's and the moderator's caution. Suggestion: if you want to continue to post -- and you know you have a fan-club on this board -- why not PM Steve or Harry J and ask them what specifically was it that they found "over the line" in the last posting you did (relations with frame reps)? I'd hate to loose your comments completely: I've printed out "Troubled Shootings on a Progressives" and have it on my bulletin board in the lab.
