    More help please?

    I think i owe you guys many drinks at this stage! But any chance on some more help please?

    How can cellulose acetate be made a harder material?

    And is Optyl a thermoplastics or thermosetting material? im 99% this one is thermosetting

    Optyl is a thermoelastic material, or refered to as memory plastic. Cellulose Acetate be made harder, that's a good question. Cellulose acetate is usually coated to prevent it from getting brittle too soon and to prevent discoloration from UV, but I have not heard of making it harder with anything. Unless they mean another material such as Cellulose aceto-propionate or commonly refered to as propionate.

    no appears to be an additive that they want, im at a loss!
    my answer on the optyl has to be either or as they were my choices.

    Then go thermosetting I am sure it's a matter of which side of the pond your on.

    As for an additive are they looking for a specific or would plasticizers work (adding less plasticizers that is)?

    Harder Cellulose

    That's why they put the wire in it. They used to put it in the Chassis (front for your newbies) also. O' gone are the days.
