    Optronics Clarity analyzer blocker

Has anybody tried the new Optronics clarity analyzer blocker ? If so how does it compare to the Weco verifier and the gerber dimetrix.

We have a clarity it seems to be a work in progress still, we dont shut it off EVER due to calibration nightmares. Have not used the other brands but with accurate techs a lensometer and a 3b will run circles around the clarity in its current state.

We have the Weco Verifier and you can only do single vision jobs .The flat tops come out uneven and it can,t find the ref markings on the no line bifocals .Is the clarity this bad ?Optronics sales rep was telling me how great this blockers is .

Sounds like the clarity however you can manually align progressives. Biggest problem is that it is incredibly slow and can take an hour to calibrate our own way due to it not calibrating itself properly. When we received our first machine it did not work properly so they sent us a second which is still not perfect. We use this machine as a part time attempt to bail out our 3b when we get busy. honestly I would wait for this machine to have some updates before purchasing.
