Do the batteries need to be replaced like I have heard the other hybrids need to? It does seem like a really economical car for city areas.
I think cities/councils should entice car makers and buyers to use products like this by offering great incentives. Why not have set parking spaces with top-up charging for these cars? SPecial tax/cost exemptions on tol roads or parking lots in the cities?
What about charging less for regostration for taxis that use this type of vehicle for carrying only 1 or 2 passengers (and indeed any end consumer)

I still like my big powerful V6, and love the roar of the V8's, but it is obviously not sustainable in todays climate. Cost of fuel and cost to the environment is starting to make me think twice on choice of vehicle.

An interesting question is, will the car run differently in hotter climates than in cold ones? Seeing that it is using air, and warm air is lighter and less dense than cold air, would this affect the performance (and i say that loosely ;))?

I saw that. Pretty cool if you don't care if you survive a head-on with a skunk!

It says it runs on air, but really it is still burning fossil fuels (mostly). The air is pushing the pistons. Still, it looks like it's pretty efficient. I like where they're going with it.

I also like the way they are not going to build them, but license the technology to others. Pretty cool business model.
