    Help???

I got a question as part of one of my papers:

Most bifocal lenses have the reading addition in the segment . Can you name a solid bifocal that has the distance Rx in the segment?

I can name ones that COULD have the distance in the lower but not one that definitivly has.

    Any ideas?

Harry got it right. I used to Rx these for my dad all the time when he played in the Philly Orchestra. It had the reading Rx in the carrier for reading the score and a small FT seg in the top with his distance Rx so he could see the conductor just above the music. It worked great.

Luzerne optical used to get them for us. They took a month to receive and were only available in glass.
