    E-Mail to CD

Forgive me for posting in this forum but it seems that Conversation forum has gone away.
Question for those of you that are smarter, especially computer smarter than I.
I have a lot of E. Mails that I would like to remove from Outlook Express to CD. Some stuff I would like to save but not clog up the Inbox with.
Does anyone know how to move stuff from Outlook Express to CD?

    Thanks,

    Chip

With the email open click on file and then go to save as.....select computer then the cd drive you wish to burn to.

You could also buy a USB (flash) drive instead of a CD. That way you won't have to wait for it to burn, and you can always go back and delete/edit what you want. I actually have one from luxottica that I've been using for years. It was just one of their dumb POP gifts or something that the rep handed out. :bbg:

    Chip,
Lo Tech: go to Email Inbox, select Edit, Select all, save as (at that point select Text format into drive you want.
Text files do not take much room.

Chip, I'd go with DoubleD's suggestion, either to a CD or flash drive, but .txt files are smaller than .eml files, so you can fit more of them in.

You can get a ton of e-mails on a CD.
