Lately, I've had problems with axis when using my Coburn CS-7. Usually on single vision scripts, it's nothing that can't be remedied with turning the lens just a bit (unless it's an odd shaped frame). This problem is most apparent on flat-top bifocals and trifocals. I'm very careful when I'm decentering my lens to not tilt the flat top lines, but they still come out a bit crooked. On right lenses, the bifocal is tilted down and on left lenses it is tilted up.
Does anyone here have any advice on how I might be able to make an adjustment on my CS-7 to take care of this? My suspician is that it might have something to do with the clamp for my finish blocks maybe needing an adjustment. I have no manual for it, and have searched online, but have come up empty. Any help would be appreciated.
