    Vision Council Members - I have a favor to ask?

    Can someone that is a member of the Vision Council provide me with a copy of the new Data Communications Standard Software, PLLLEEEEAAAAASSSSSSEEEEE. :D

    You looking for the whole DCS document that lists all the field definitions and explanations Harry? Or something in particular...

    Simulator Software

    That software is intended to help machine manufacturers ensure that their machines are compliant with the standard. I don't know if VC is presently selling it (as they have done in the past) or giving it away, but you should contact Jeff Endres at jendres@thevisioncouncil.org.

    I go the impression that it could also give me details as to what tags or keywords are used by the various equipment as well.

    Not really. For that you want the standard document. Neither that nor the simulator would tell you want records a particular machine wants to get, but that's not really a problem... a device can tell the host what it wants under the standard scheme.
