I'm coming at this late, but I'm in need of one of these kits, too. Have a call in to Luzerne, but I'm not sure they will still have any. Anybody out there willing to part with one?

It's a marvelous old kit with a set of trial frames and lenses, very useful in showing an emerging presbyope how a progressive will actually work. It came out when Varilux Comfort reigned supreme, hence the name. There were examples of progressives in a variety of adds, in combination with sphere powers of plano, +1.50 and -3.00, I believe. It also had sample flat-tops for comparison. It always did a much better job of explaining things than my crappy drawings ever could.
