100 pairs an hour, hmmm... With that kind of production I could do a my usual days work in just over half an hour and have more time for fishing and chaseing Diane around the lab.
The 7E will do many things, provided it's calibrated correctly. This is really impotant if the multi-cutter (turret) is installed. The biggest issue is when to calibrate using the BODY or when to use the BLADE. Use of the wrong parameter can give you real issues with certain combinations. There is also clever switches like; smart spiral, that help with aggresive chipping, etc, and the secondary material fields for AR coated lenses.
Another advantage is you can get the latest software update for the 7E via email. download it on your PC, unpack it, and drop to a floppy to install.

how about a mini bevel function?...anyone know how to set that up?

You put the "shallow bevel" blade in your turret - or in place of the standard blade, if no turret. Calibrate and edge lenses.

this is one hell of a machine..I cant get over all the things it can do!..Optronics has done one hell of a job creating it...Im still having a problem with one particular wileyX frame but i ordered a new blade and should be able to get it..(just a little note about those wileyX frames...go to any local gas station get a 5 dollar pair of sunglasses and see if you think the quality of wileyX is worth the insane prices!).
Thanks everyone

For the wrap frames you can use a blade called the high wrap 1 or the high wrap 2 .On these blades you can use a 4 or 6 base depending on the Rx .
Jeeze, have gone to flat stuff so much that a 4 or 6 base is now a wrap?
