There are quite a number of different brands, but most are actully copies of the Sunsensor. Several different Far East chemical companies each make their own version, mostly 1,56 index stuff. Corning just announced that they now have an imbibed photochromic coating that is similar to Transition.

LifeRx from Vision Ease and Thin and Dark (only in glass)from Signet Armorlite. Sola had what they called "Splitz" years ago which where Blue, Yellow, Orange etc...but now I've seen them somewhere else but can't remember where probably an overseas brand like Jacqui said...not too popular.

Also Photochromic is not material specific. Its more of a chemical which reacts to UV light that is applied to a lens of a raw material nature such as Polycarbonate material, Cr-39, High Index etc...

They're gaining popularity in the Far East. Red, Orange, Yellow, Light Green, Dark Green, Light Blue, Dark Blue, Violet, Purple and Pink. I think it's a Solaris material, 1.56 index.

P.S. Dark Blue is supposed to be the next big fashion trend.
