    Ultra Optics Mini Question

    Hello all,
With today being a holiday in the states I won't be able to call Ultra Optics till Monday.
I am having some issues with my Mini. It's been running great for about 3 weeks. ( I bought it used from Optek)
Today I noticed that when it went to the second chamber to coat, the coating was just barely coming out the tip. So I opened her up, and tried to adjusted the gage to give it a little more juice. Only trouble is, it was on the max setting.
Any ideas as to why its only dribbling out? and how would I go about fixing that??

    THANKS!!

    G

What usually happens is either there is a bit of hardened coating in the pipes which causes the block or the filter needs changing. I would change the filter first (dont forget to turn down the coating pump height) and try that. If there is still a little coating coming out, I would say the pipes are blocked.
If it is, you need to drain all coating liquid and use methanol (or equivalent) and circulate for a long time(15-30mins). ALternatively you may need to replace the pipes, or remove them one by one to check if they are blocked.
Good luck, let me know if you need more info.

Ha ha. I forgot to turn that back down a few weeks ago and shot coating up to the top of where the HEPA filter would have been. Ours is in a hood, but still. Quite a fountain.
