Thumbs up Let's Hear It For Michael Jordan!

    Jordan Makes It Official,
    Will Sign With Wizards

    By JOSEPH WHITE
    .c The Associated Press

WASHINGTON (Sept. 25) -- The worst-kept secret in sports is out: Michael Jordan will play again in the NBA -- and not just for one season, but two.

After months of hints, smiles and winks that kept his fans on edge, Jordan finally announced his comeback Tuesday, saying he would play for the Washington Wizards through 2003 and donate his first year's salary to victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

I think this is a tremendous gesture. and wish all the overpaid athletes would follow suit.

Well, that's great for Michael-well done.

However, it's going to take more than Mikey to get the Wizzers going. The Bullets, the hell with political correctness, haven't been interesting since 1977. Actually, the really haven't been interesting since 1971.

Get back the old orange and blue uniforms and go back to the Balmer Civic Center where they belong!

As a side note, which team sits on top of the ACC this week....NOT SO FAST there ol'Bobby Boy!:bbg:

If anyone can afford to donate a years salary ol Michael can. As far as where they'll finish Michael will make that group of youngsters do things they never dreamed they could. Given the salary cap they have to work with watch for big things in the near future. Hey Eye Man what do you think of them Tar Heels/Seminole Slayers.

So it the Heels could do that, wait till the Terps get a hold of them!

    Big Smile

Hey alright Michael Jordan!!! That is great. Hey if you do it I say more power to you. It would be wonderful if we all could afford to give our salaries, but LORD on what I make I might be able to give someone a loaf of bread!! I think it is really great what some have done. My hats go off to all of them.

One thing I've never seen on a hot dog till I came down here is slaw. But I'll have to say now that I've tried it its pretty darn good. It'll be a while before they get me to try grits or hog jawls or worst yet possum. Its amazing what some people will eat.
