Software for Scheduling

We are in the proccess of trying to find the best software for scheduling appointments, especially as it pertains to appointments by the telephone. I would be interested in finding out what software has worked the best for your practices involving scheduling. Thanks in advance for your considerations.

r u speaking of personal apts - or making pt appointments for exams or contact lens apts in your office ?

was unsure -

as for making apts for our pts - our doctor - uses - officemate -

They have tried many differant ones - and THIS ONE BY FAR IS THE BEST -

Many add ins from digital paperless files add on
to inventory management - to APTS - to printing labels

I find this appointment book is the best that i have tried hands down -

Officemate's scheduling system works pretty well. Not sure if you're wanting the whole practice management side of things though.

The end user has clearly stated his needs, "scheduling appointments". He clearly doesn't want any additional functionality.

It's like when you have a customer present with a new Rx and wants to stay in his FT-28 bifocals and you proceed to push, and I do mean push, the latest whiz bang progressive on him.

Don't you people listen?

Dick (rbaker) has it just right, we are using other programs, that we are happy with for other functionalities. Our software need is exclusively for scheduling appointments.
