VSP and Rx Changes

Does VSP allow more then 1 rx change, I have a patient that purchased a pair of glasses from a vsp od and could not see with them, our MD refracted her and again she could not see. Third time was a charm with trial frame but her original OD/VSP optical will not remake them a second time is this correct?

One time remake for anything other than a change of frame. After that it's a private matter between you and the lab.

There's no flexibility in that policy either -- although, if you would remake the lenses a second time at no cost for a private-pay patient, VSP will probably insist you do the same for your VSP patients, regardless of the cost to you.
