    Optometry Software - Canada

Could anyone give me ideas for software to manage a multi-office optometry business. There are some softwares out there but we obviously require billing for Canadian companies.

What software are businesses using now??

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I use CFile which, if were to start over again, I would not use. It is not very sophisticated, but works for my needs. And I'm too cheap to buy another system. I think that P&P is very good.

Thanks for your reply...not too many people out there offering any support with letting me know what software people are using.

There must be some Canadian packages out there like Officemate that is used for the Canadian market.

    Come on people....share your knowledge!!!

We use Visual Eyes, but we're a single office. Not sure about multi-office set-ups. Expensive, but great tech support.

Last clinic I worked at used IFile (same company as CFile). All the staff hated it, and tech support was very much lacking.

    Hi Mike,

I would like to recommend our product, My Vision Express. It is an easy-to-use, affordable, and powerful Practice Management Software. And because of its modern SQL Server technology, It also excels at handling multiple locations.

You can get a Free 30-Day Trial at our website, http://www.myvisionexpress.com, or by calling 877-882-7456.

I would also be happy to schedule a live, interactive demo of the software. Call me at 877-882-7456 ext-721 to arrange it.

    Sincerely,

OfficeMate has a multilocation called Officemate Enterprise. Take a look at the website (www.officemate.net)

They are in the process of developing a Canadian specific billing module. :)

Take a look at MS Group software.

    http://msgroupsys.com/

We've been using it for over 20 years. We have no financial interest in the company.

We use IFile, and I quite like it. I find it easy to use and well-organized. We've had our share of glitches, but not too bad.
