TRANSITIONS AND EYEFINITY PARTNER TO PROVIDE HEALTHY SIGHT
EDUCATION AND RESOURCES TO EYECARE PROFESSIONALS
NEW YORK, April 11, 2008 – Seeking to empower private practice eyecare professionals, Eyefinity®, Inc. and Transitions Optical, Inc. are partnering to provide them with resources to help spark dialogue about healthy sight with patients. Through this alliance, Eyefinity and Transitions will work together to develop a series of programs and materials that eyecare professionals can leverage to educate consumers on the important roles that comprehensive eye exams and proper eyewear play in promoting a lifetime of healthy sight. Through the partnership, Eyefinity will also provide education on the new, Transitions® VI lenses, along with immediate access to a variety of tools to help eyecare professionals succeed in dispensing Transitions® lenses and other premium products to patients.

“Quality marketing and education are essential components of Transitions Optical’s commitment to eyecare professionals,” said Pat Huot, business manager, managed vision care, Transitions. “Eyefinity shares our commitment and we look forward to working together to provide quick access to information and resources to help eyecare professionals enhance their businesses and bring even more healthy sight education to patients.”

Through the partnership, Transitions will sponsor several Web-based resources for professional education and also for eyecare professionals to share with their patients. For example, eyecare professionals with an Eyefinity Web presence will be able to access a number of online tools, including a customizable template of Transitions Optical’s online Eyeglass Guide, for download to their personal Web sites.

“We are excited to partner with Transitions to bring such valuable tools and education to the fingertips of tens of thousands of eyecare professionals,” said Steve Baker, president, Eyefinity. “We know that for private practices to be successful they must offer the best care for the most important aspect of their businesses – their patients – and that means delivering quality products, like Transitions lenses, and the most helpful information to encourage their patients to achieve healthy sight.”
