    This really makes me ANGRY

This is just one of many examples:

For way to many years we have been pumping oil from the earth and burning it while polluteing our air. All along the greatest natural resource has been sitting untapped.

I sincerely believe that everything on the earth has its purpose. I highly doubt that the oil underground was meant for us to burn. It only makes sense that H20 should be used for energy.

    Leo:
What you be done to think Oil is for. Some sort of shock absorber for the Earth's crust or something? We just supposed to use it as a lubricant?
Course it's there for us to burn.

UMMMMMM....Maybe it is there to insulate the inner core and keep the water above. You know, oil and water do not mix.

Someday the statement "we burned it all" will sound very stupid.

    SERIOUSLY STUPID!!!

I am no geologist, but I am quite positive the oil is deep under the earth for a reason.
Meanwhile....we are surrounded by vast oceans. These oceans make up 2/3rds of the earth surface. Water is 2/3rds HYDROGEN. A flammable gas.

If we seriously invested our time and money into researching viable ways to use this unlimited clean natural resource, we could end the pollution that is killing the planet. Revive our economy, become energy independant, stop global warming, etc....etc....

And maybe the shoreline will stop creeping closer to my door.:D

Here is a small company in Clearwater that has had some great success.

America needs to focus on the developement of this possible new technology. If the oil companys dont like it, TOO BAD!!!
If they were smart they would invest in it.

The only problem here is that to liberate hydrogen (with the exception of one experimental radio wave process) takes more energy than the hydrogen will liberate. Not to mention, if you think gasoline is explosive and hard to handle, wait until the super intelligent general public starts pumping hydrogen. Or crashing cars into other vehicle with hydrogen tanks.
