I'll try to get by the Cadillac booth on Sat. at 2pm but I might be glued to my bosses' hips. We're launching a new high-end line (Carmen Marc Valvo, verrrry hot) and that's the reason I got to go.

Hello 'Boarders,

It was great to see some of you at VEE...couldn't get to Doc from China's booth until 2:30 (meeting ran late)...so sorry to have missed meeting some of you.

Doc in China...it was great to meet you, and I hope you had a great show.

Did everyone have fun? It appeared to be busy in the exhibit hall, especially Sunday. The seminars were packed as well. Hate to leave NYC...what a great city!

There's a new LU LU Guiness frame that has temples that look like legs with little red shoes at the end. I'll have to learn how to not be visibly annoyed when people refer to their temples as legs.

Vee was great! I got to meet Judy Canty and James Herman stopped by! I couldn't find a quiet moment to slip away and meet everybody at the Cadillac booth, I'm a little bummed about that!

Show was a great success for us, the Carmen Marc Valvo line was a hit! It didn't hurt that we had beautiful models carrying around the frames with their shirts off! (they were young men - since most of our buyers are female)

In fact, the whole incident leading up to the shirtless models happened when an account placed a 100 pc order and saw them stroll by. She immediately said that she'd double the order if they took their shirts off! The boys were happy to oblige and next thing you know our booth got flooded with women waiting in line to have their pics taken with them!!!!!
