Yesterday's Washington Post ran two articles, one on the front page above the fold and one in the Health supplement, on this relative newcomer to the laser vision correction field. Laser Vision Institute is owned by the folks who own Eyeglass World and their business tactics are again under scrutiny. The articles are long, but worth the read. We are near an Eyeglass World, and patients have asked me what I think. Now I can refer them to the articles, with a clear conscience, and continue to encourage them to do more research on their own. It's their eyes, and their choice!
