    Probably the attitude of the free world is: "They don't have anything we need in Tibet (no oil, no exclusive minerals, no manufactureing capablility), so just let the Chi-Coms do what they will.
    Hell, look at all the flack we got for "interfering" in Viet Nam, Korea, Afganistan, Irac, and South America. And these places had something we could use.
    I'm afraid that Tibet is doomed.

    I think that George W. et al proved in Iraq that a large conquering force cannot quell an uprising. It's impossible to invade any nation, except maybe the heroic Ronald Reagan, in the invasion of that world power of Grenada, and win. As D. Chaney indicated in Iraq1 that deposing Saddam would lead to whole lot of chaos. Perhaps that's why D. Rumsfeld was instrumental in putting him into power in the first place. It's too bad they didn't read their previous notes before they decided on this foolish invasion. There is no nation that can go to war with China, and hopefully we have no more Republicans that have such huge egos that they believe they can.

    We cannot go to war with China but as long as we can destroy China and China is aware of that fact, it won't be a problem.

    You do not need to fight China. The country has problems (but we all do), and they are all workable.

    China's main glory is in improving its economics and being a World class nation. If we hold back on the olympics and stuff, the nation will move toward democracy.
