Alexandria, VA (March 14, 2008) – The Vision Council of America’s (VCA) Sunglass and Reader Division (formerly the Sunglass Association of America) and the European Sunglass Association will host their annual International Sunglass Industry Dinner at the MIDO trade show in Milan, Italy. The dinner will take place at the Hotel Principe di Savoia Milano on Saturday, May 10, 2008.

“The International Sunglass Industry Dinner is a great event because it brings all the key players in this industry together for a night of fun and food,” said Ed Greene, VCA chief executive officer. “It provides a relaxing forum for everyone to come and see what has been going on with their peers and the industry.”

In addition to enjoying fine Italian cuisine, the second annual Visionary Award, which honors individuals who show exemplary leadership, invaluable contribution and innovative vision to the global eyewear industry, will be presented along with a preview of the 2009 spring and summer fashion trends.

All those in the international sunglass industry are invited to attend.
