Primary Job Responsibilities:
· Serves as specialist in all facets of finish lab including processes, machinery and materials properties
· Lead staff and insure appropriate procedures to deliver consistent high quality products
· Prioritizes & allocates materials, equipment, and personnel to ensure that daily production schedules are met
· Reviews and resolves issues related to materials, workflow, equipment and personnel: determines when issues should be referred to Production Manager.
· Recommends & implements changes to production processes
· Maintain appropriate production and personnel documentation. Counsels, develops and trains a small staff of coatings technicians.
· Maintains written documentations of quality, quantity and QC/Finish production output. Records dail information
· Additional task as directed
Qualifications (degree, skills, years of experience, competencies):
· 3-5 yrs Optical Experience
· Outgoing and dynamic personality, which are instrumental in being a successful leader.
· Basic computer knowledge
· Flexibility to work across all working shifts as needed
