    Im-patients (Another Full Moon!?)

Just venting . . . did everybody turn crazy today or did the crazy ones just all find their way into my shop?

I think it's actually kind of fun (sometimes) dealing with ignorant patients--I get such good stories to share with the my co-workers. Here's one of my faves:

An unfortunate patient had much trouble with diplopia. Her prism was always changing, too--we'd get it right for her with press-ons and it would be stable for a while and then she'd decide to get it cut into her lenses, only to have her eyes go through another unexpected change within weeks.

She was always a little bit sour (after all, she's been through a lot!) and she was picking up yet another set of new lenses. I felt really bad for her though when she put them on she nearly yelled out, "Now I have TRIPLE VISION!" She calmed down when I very gently explained that she was indeed looking at three identical light switches on the wall. :p

gloomy mondays have been going on for quite some time, two songs of that nature immediately strike me. Monday Monday by Mommas and Papps and rainy days and mondays always get me down by the carpenters.
