We currently have a Managed Vision Plan Specialist (2 Openings) career opportunity at our Dallas, TX location.

POSITION PURPOSE:
The Plan Specialist is responsible for ensuring all operational questions regarding each VCP plan assigned within his or her responsibility are answered in a timely, positive and professional manner. The plan specialist is the front-line contact for the Essilor sales forces, Essilor laboratories customer service and the manage care customers’ operational teams (VCP) for plan-specific questions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintain clear understanding of the specific business arrangements for assigned VCP, including but not limited to lab network designation, billing, discounts, rebates, benefit designs, Essilor product inclusions or exclusions, provider network arrangement and reimbursement and key employer set ups, if any.
· Develop and present training material to educate Customer Service teams across all labs in using IHMS processes and systems to drive superior customer (Vision Care Plan) satisfaction (utilizing Custom worksheets/reports, SalesForce.com)
· Provide both internal and external customers with the highest level in customer care.
· Research issues independently, using a variety of complex tools (Optifacts, Eyefinity, SalesForce.com and Vision Web).
· Manage updates of IHMS Provider Database using internal and external data sources. Work in partnership with IT team to troubleshoot account status issues.
· Process Vision Web “Add a supplier” ECP’s requests when needed for specific VCP plans
· Understand Essilor’s business relationship with each assigned VCP and describe / explain it in a different ways depending on each type of audience (ELOA, IDD, BRAND, VCP).
· Process all requests in a courteous, efficient and timely manner.
· Properly document customer complaints and concerns immediately and drive satisfactory resolution.
· Communicate and work effectively with IHMS team to escalate any issue affecting customer satisfaction, when needed.
· Provide practical assistance in training of newly hired Regional Plan Specialists.
· Regularly attend and participate in team meetings and joint customer service calls
· Demonstrate 100% follow through in every commitment.
· Escalate unresolved or urgent business issues to ensure proper attention or preempt potential adverse relationships.
· Other duties as directed by Manager.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· College degree preferred.
· 3-4 years of healthcare experience required. Managed Care experience is a plus.
· Must be articulate, a good listener with excellent command of the English language in both written and oral forms.
· Ability to provide a welcoming, positive experience for internal and external customers via regular inbound and outbound phone contact.
· Ability to identify and meet customers’ needs and requirements.
· Demonstrated excellence in organization and time management skills. Able to perform multiple tasks efficiently.
· Adaptable to changing priorities and ability to work effectively with short deadlines.
· Must be hardworking, a self-starter and a problem solver.
· Proficient with MS Office.
· Work well with others in a spirit of cooperation and teamwork.
