    Eyewear customer management software???

I have been using a eyewear data program that my fater built, but it will not run on the newer Microsoft operating systems.

For this reason, I am looking for some sort of modern system. Something that will store peoples names, lense and frame data, notes on the sale, etc.

    Is there such a thing???

    thanks--Peter

Have you tried it with Virtual PC? With that you can have several OSes (i.e. Win 98, Win 95, and XP) on one computer, each with it's own separate environment. I run Vista, but I have Virtual PC with both XP and Win98 running. So If I want to play an older game or something that will not run under Vista, I can fire up Virtual PC, boot into whatever OS I want anf off I go!
    And it's free!

No-- I haven't tried anything. We are still on paper, and quite happy with it. The computer is nice as a backup, but more useful for marketing purposes-- also gives the employees something to do when we're slow. :)
