for those far more computer savy than myself...

Is there anyway that I can restrict internet access to only 1 site (insurance website)?

Use a proxy server. Linux or Windows servers can do this easily. Personally, though, the wisdom would escape me if you restricted it to only one site.

Dont know what browser you are using...but if it xp/vista ie6/7 use the Content Advisor to lock down Internet Explorer so that only certain sites of your choosing can be accessed.
This is not a high-security "kiosk mode" solution. Skilled users can disable Content Advisor by manipulating the Windows Registry or booting from CD. With Windows XP Professional you can reduce the risk by using unprivileged accounts for ordinary users. To get to the content advisor.....go to tools/internet options/content(tab).

I'm pretty sure a decent router would give you the simple configuration you're looking for.

    A) Can we assume you need to do this because your employees are checking their "my space" on company time? B) How is there only one insurance web site? C) Never underestimate the creative ways in which the tech savvy generation can get around barriers.

    No lock...

It may be easier to just tell your staff not to use the company computer for anything but what you designate as appropriate. You can check to see whether or not they visit other sites and tell them up front. It's a shame that employers can't trust employees these days. Also it seems that employees don't trust their employers either. Things sure have changed.

    another option....

Our office has a independent system in the lounge. We allow anyone to use it, ie. during lunch hour, before and after work. weekends.

I will not expose our main system to any site not absolutely necessary to the operation of our office.

Any employee who doesn't comply is released to seek other employment.

Been doing for several years since we had a major problem, and it works nicely.

    Just a thought

    That is a thoughtful solution.
Also make sure to tell the employees that the main system has tracking software on it (even if it doesn't) that you are privileged to see and check on their browsing habits and that the free system does not. One more reason to use the free one. One cannot be too careful these days with computer information.
Locking a system down to one website is just not too practical.
