one year anniversary

Hey ya'll I just had my one year anniversary of my Optical Boutique (without a DR)
I feel really good about year 2. I have heard generally speaking it takes 30 months in an Optical setting to make a profit.
Well I think it is going to be more like 18 months for me.
I have really been blessed and have a lovely following of patients.
So to anyone out there who is considering going out alone,
my first suggestion would be to make sure you have a (good personality unlike that guy on the utube video) a good followingof patients, a good location, join and work your Chamber, go to as many functions as possible, hand out alot of flyers and wear the funkiest glasses you carry.
Accessories are a must the more you have for them to look at the longer they browse and find what they want to "pay for".
