Wow, damn. I'm usually the first to say "Don't believe everything you see on tv." But there aren't many justifications for actions like that.

That's why I don't take stock in too many of these stories. I mean, we have no idea what happened before the camera started rolling, did this guy come in demanding to know why he was ripping his patients off, using those words? Was he violent to the optician before hand? Who knows, right? That being said, there's still no excuse for how he reacted, but I just don't like taking one side of the story and treating it as the truth.

Adam was (is?) performing illegal sight testing, selling counterfeit goods, and seems to have a bit of a temper. With the amount of video available on City TV's website, I don't know there's much you can use to defend him. The answering machine tape where he invites Silverman to his store (and then attacks him) is pretty significant evidence.
I'm certainly not trying to defend him in any way, all I'm saying is you never know how these things go down. It shows a tape recording, then it shows the reporter being attacked. But was that exactly what happened? Did the reporter go there before and insult him to get a reaction? Who knows? As I said, there's no excuse for this Optician's reactions, I just don't like taking a single side of a story as the full truth.
Adam expresses on the answering machine he has 'found GOD' and then invites Mr. Silverman to the store so he can redeem himself and come clean. As soon as Mr. Silverman arrives at the door, he is immediately ambushed. C'mon, I mean really..... At this point we all have bad days but nothing can justify his actions. Also, how convenient is it that these characters always play the 'religious card'?:hammer:

Let me make this very clear for those of you who may not have heard or seen the tapes. This guy is a total nut-job who couldn't for the life of him run a dispensary. Everything that you see on the tapes is true. The reporter did not provoke him. I have known this sh#tfaced optician for a while and he has ablolutele no regard for opticianry. If you still think that you need to hear his side or see the tape unedited, then you may as well book an eye exam from him and have good time in the dark.
I am not biased, i just know when a person is a loser.
