I have deleted the name of the store that did this, because there might be one in your town, and I don't want to bash, but...

Feel free to use this as an example of how important it is to have your employees make sure they understand what the customer is asking for.





XXXXXXStore Employee: "Hello this is xxxxx, how can I help you?"

Customer: " I would like to order a cake for a going away party this week."

xxxxxStore Employee: "What you want on the cake?"Customer: "Best Wishes Suzanne" and underneath that "We will miss you".

Well, the picture tells a thousand words, but the cake looked something like this:

"Best Wishes Suzanne
And Under Neath That
We Will Miss You"
