Bright Eyes Family Vision Care is an independent Optometry practice located in Westchase, a family-oriented neighborhood of Tampa, FL. We have an immediate opening for a full-time, licensed Optician. We have a small, beautiful primary-care practice with emphasis on pediatric vision, vision therapy, and contact lenses.

Because we are a small office, all staff will be cross-trained. Experience with all or most of the following is expected:


Primary job requirements
Frame and lens sales
Frame and lens dispensing
Frame ordering
Frame adjustment/repairs

Secondary job requirements
Answering telephones
Scheduling appointments
Contact lens insertion and removal training
Patient pre-exam workup

To qualify for this position, you must have at least three years experience as an optician and be licensed by the State of Florida. You must be comfortable at sales and have excellent communication skills. We carry primarily up-scale frames and lens products that we take pride in. The top priority is to provide the best experience to all our patients. You must be comfortable working with all patient types, especially infants and children.

This position is full-time paid hourly. Some evenings and weekends are required. You will be expected to close on certain evenings and occasionally work alone.
