    Rule of thumb for measuring 7/35 tri

    where do you measure for a lined trifocal? 1/2 way in between the pupil and lower lid, or at the bottom of the pupil?

    According to the textbook it should be lower pupil. My suggestion otherwise would be look at where they are currently wearing his/her trifocals.

    Bottom of the pupil, but make sure to fit it similar to a prgressive in regradss to the vertex, fit it close.
