Harry,
I think that this time you've finally cracked.
Step away from your keyboard, go get a beer, and I'll send Fezz over there ASAP.

I said no, but I guess it depends on what you mean by that. If you mean exactly what you said "Hey guys, great news, we can get some awesome new frames in if you take a pay cut!" Then no, but if it was a situation like mine, where I took a pay cut to go to a different office that happened to SELL name brand frames (not why I left lol) ... well... I did it, so yes. lol
I wouldn't take a pay increase to sell brand name frames.
I enjoyed what I did, and that is because selling good product is exciting. Brand name frames tend to not be exciting.
I think he was making a point that it didn't matter either way
Harry...do you need a hug today? :D
Give me $75 per frame i sell and i will consider a pay nic not a cut.

So what is all this big talk on Optiboard for the last few years, glorifying brand name frames ? :bbg:
Harry pop the question also on progressives and AR coatings. :bbg:
Chris - your quoted numbers add up to 2410% :D
Harry!
You're the expert. You make or break the brand in the optical.
My first job was in Luxury Optical. Not "high-end", Luxury.
We had this BIG display of Chanel. Everybody wanted Chanel. You know what my boss did when some cute little underfed boobsicle came in looking for Chanel?
He asked them why they would want to spend $xxxx.xx on something you could get at LensCrafters - after all, they made the product.
Then he would show them a Sama or a Mikli. They'd never heard of them. But the next week, their friends had to have them.
He also lovingly referred to Chanel as sh*t-nel. Not my words.
(I just sold 'em Cartier, Fred or Gold & Wood)
I knew that would get your attention :Ddon't hold back:D
