Third Consecutive Nomination for an OLA Award of Excellence for VisionWeb Technology

Las Vegas, NV (International Vision Expo West)– October 4, 2007 - VisionWeb, the premier provider of technology services to streamline the eyecare practice, announced today VisionWeb’s Open Network Exchange service, VisionWeb O.N.E., received nomination for an OLA Award of Excellence in the category of Processing Materials & Tools. This category includes products and services that improve the processing of materials, including software and technology services. The OLA Award of Excellence is one of the most prestigious awards offered by the optical industry. The occasion marks the third consecutive year that a VisionWeb service has received nomination for an OLA Award of Excellence.

VisionWeb O.N.E. allows eyecare practices, retail locations, and optical laboratories to send orders electronically to processing centers or other laboratories, from sources other than a traditional web site. With VisionWeb O.N.E., there is no need to re-key order information or phone or fax the order. This technology helps increase efficiency and reduces errors for the customer and the laboratory processing the lens job.
