Thanks everyone!
Today (no, yesterday, now) was International Pirates Day too!
I spent most of the day with my mother in a Knoxville hospital waiting room while my 78 year old dad had his pacemaker traded out for a pacemaker/defibrillator (sp?) He did well, and hopefully will go home tomorrow. I saw three wrecks on the 100 mile trip home to Chattanooga, but missed the BIG one: four guys "landed" a small private jet in a shopping center 1000 yards short of the municipal airport runway. (!) Passers-by helped them climb out. I believe the 4 are spending the night in a local hospital. Compared to them, my day was rather calm, and I am so blessed to have spent this day with two special people who welcomed me into the world, 55 years ago!
The past year has been rather hard on my family, and I am fortunate to still have my husband of 32 years. His story is on carepages.com (afterthelunarmoth)
Hopefully my 56th year will be much calmer, but filled with fun stuff too !
