Reputation points

I looked at my USER CP and saw that I have reputation points and comments. I was able to figure out how to give the feedback, but little else.

Any comments on what this is to be used for and what the points mean are appreciated.

It’s just a way of saying we like what you said, or didn’t like what you said. The only way to know who they came from is if the person signs it though.

Lenny you are just jalous because you only got one green spot.................

Anyhow you can also black it out so nobody can give you good nor bad marks like I did.....................or I would probably have too many bad points. :D

Don't want to spam a place up. Plus it feels more special.

Fezz really got me doing this more than I used to. I never give negative ones unless someone says something really deregatory (will not just because I do not agree with them). Saying that, even in those cases I have spoken up instead.

My mentor(although he doesn't know it..shhhh), Harry Chiling has six if not seven!

My business Hero and Guru(and possibly a long lost Brother?), Johns, is just about at six...or a real solid five 3/4!

Mentor, I have to say I have taught him how to drink with some class. After all wearing a kilt while doing a keg stand is just rude. :D (especially when I'm holdin')

I leanr more about business from Fezz than anyone else I know, he's a great resource and he drinks good beer and smokes good cigars.

I'd never really paid much attention to the numbers of 'greenies' shown on posts before and I must say I'm impressed. I already know the depth of knowledge abounding on this board and I'm very appreciative of the help HarryChilling, Fezz, and Johns has given me- no small wonder you guys have as many 'greenies' as you do! I often try to 'pass judgement' on posts and am met by the response from the board 'You must give rep points to some other users before you can give to this person'= seems I'm invariably trying to cheer the same people on over and over!

better practice saying it straight forward and frank, will not earn you any green points but maybe respect, to earn the green points with your customers makes more sense. :bbg:
