Anyone out there know of a supplier who makes a 4 or 5 base plano lens? (Prefer poly) I could call around, but thought I would check the knowledge here first.

I'm not 100% sure about their plano lenses, but Nassau Lens' Lighten-Up poly is normally on a flatter base than most. PM Uncle Fester, he probably has one in stock that he can clock for you.

I carry those let me check.
Hmmm. old 73mm (made in USA) clocks 5.00 base.
New 65/70mm (made in Thailand - Thanks Esslior for not using US made lenses anymore) also clocks 5.00 base.
70mm LiteAir Polycore is 4.75 base.
Since Essilor bought them their prices have not decreased but the lenses went from 73mm US made to 70mm Thailand made.
Now you can get the 73mm US made lenses from JG Optical - IF you can get them to actually send what you order. They don't seem to be well organized there.

:hammer::hammer::hammer::Dplano lighten up fast tint aspheric,
Thanks for all the info! I checked some of the sources and got some ordered. I have a feeling the ones from Somo and Nassau are from the same supplier, but we'll see.
Thanks again.

I'm sure it's just to save on packaging but I just found it funny.:)
Anyone up to argue that it would improve vision if it were made aspheric
Have at it you wonder wonks who's mathmatical abilities make me do this:drop:
Just charge $20 bucks more, and give the patients the advantages of aspheric. HeHe!:cheers:I'm sure it's just to save on packaging but I just found it funny.:)
