    Multi-coat problem

I have a consumer who comes in to complain that her multi-coat on her 2 month old lenses have peeled. She undertake that it was a manufacturing problem with the coating.

On verification, i found that both lenses were badly scratched but only one piece of the lens have peeled, the other didnt.

Was it really a poor multi-coating or it was sheer bad luck.

    Any comments?

Call it a defect. Make it over and move on down the road.
