Are you kidding???:angry:Strange though...Seems the same article is everywhere in one version or another...I'm going to email the auther and set them straight. No mention of why certain add-ons are important, the training of the person helping them etc...(I know I'm preaching to the choir)

The big problem here is due to the lack of research, including Consumer's Report.
It is always only researching the consumer side, which is price oriented. It does not ever get into real industry experts.
I left a nice big old comment trying to set them straight. This paper is from my area so it should directly effect me, but it doesn't. The reality is that some people will value the service side and others are looking for the cost only. The problem is that often times these customers get my service confused for FREE, when in reality it is a service provided to our customers and is included in the cost of their glasses.
