    Optical Innovations Coater, HELP!

I'm in the market for a coater and found a few, I have used Coburn clean-n-coat and Ultra optics in the past and by far prefer the Ultra-optics due to size and quality of work.

My question is has anyone hear of or used an optical innovations coater? I've found one for sale but have no idea about the quality or looks, if anyone has a link or a pic or even better experience I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks in advance,

    Ibrahim

The optical innovations coater was the first UV cure coating machine that got on the market in 1983. It was presented the first time at the old Optifair in a private room at the Hilton in NY City.

They must have sold about 1500 units (estimated) over 3-6 years.

It was a simple hand operated machine that could do plus and minus sides. This machine would be the perfect machine today for any small lab wo would want to start working on polycarbonate. It wa seasy to repair because you could purchase parts in your neighbourhood hardware store.

My company supplied hardcoating material for use on this machine for many years.
