    Maybe the only person that saw it called where I was subbing for the week. Normally I'm at home watching Fox News and writing string quartet arrangements.

    As to working at 10 PM, unfortunately being a one man store, making artificial eyes, glasses, fitting contacts and doing repairs, I am all too often here much later than that.

    I have recieved E. Mails lately that tell me I can get a prescription for anything. Simplly call the appropriate 800 number and "one or our doctors will write a precription for anything you want" over the phone!
    I would assume that an on line Rx for eyeglasses is a whole lot less likely to cause serious harm than prescription drugs on line without an examination of the patient and follow up.

    Do not missunderstand, I do not like or approve of either practice but appearently this is the way we have allowed our world to become commercialized and what we will see even more of.

    And onb that note chip your new Rx is going to be:

    -15.00 -3.00 x 135
    -17.00 -4.00 x 045

    Now I would suggest 1.74 (of course) with and anti reflective coating, your grand total comes to the low low price of $350.00 + $5.00 for the exam. You can pay via MC, VI, AX, DS using Paypal or mail me a check. Don't keep me waiting.:D

    Over the phone eye exam:

    Question 1: Did you vote for George W Bush?

    No = 20/20 no further assesment needed
    Yes = Myopic
    Didn't Vote = Further assesment

    Question 2: Did you some how see or predict how Bush would lead us into war?

    No = Myopic
    Yes = Hyperopic

    I am further refining our new eyeglasses over the phone technique, a product of FezzJohns formerly B & L. ;)

    Harry, my point was on line eyeglasses no matter how incorrect would be less likely to cause harm than on line insulin, or heart medcine, or a lot of other medications.

    With eyeglasses, the patient just won't see and hopefully be aware that he does not. He probably won't die.

    We have all made glasses where we or the prescriber failed to cross a plus sign or crossed a minus sign, other than an irritated patient the consequences were nil.

    One possible exception would be with kids whose eye muscles haven't fully developed Still nothing life threatening
