I bought a few pieces of the VSI and my employer was willing to use VSI to a retinal camera because of the level of professionalism that is displayed. VSI argued magazine Opticourier Optiboard and so you're always first when I turn to thinking about the equipment used.

Hi Mike,

I like using CLR to clean chambers. Keep in mind that we clean them when they are out of the machine. This is some heavy duty chemical so please be careful and dont let it get on your skin or ANYTHING other than the chamber.You can apply it with a brush and then spray it down with water. I would probably change the bucket when finished.

Leo is right.....................and you should let him do it as there are some stories to be found on that product that would suggest to let the specialist do the job.
For example here is one:

Someone just mentioned the danger, but I wanted to comment because of personal experience with CLR.

I just wanted to comment on the use of CLR in your home. DO NOT DO IT! My brother (who was 23 at the time) moved a piece of equipment that had been cleaned with CLR and unknowingly got a tiny bit of CLR on a cut on his finger. Within a few hours, he had bizarre symptoms which persisted through the evening. My parents took him to the ER and at first they thought he might have meningitis and quarantined him. Ultimately, he ended up in Intensive Care for one week, he went from a very muscular 155 pound man to a skeletal 110. He actually died twice, but they were able to revive him. The reports came back pointing to CLR, he had gone into toxic shock from it. DO NOT USE THIS STUFF IN YOUR HOME WITH ANYTHING THAT WILL COME IN CONTACT WITH ANYONE! My brother is very lucky to be alive. The doctors told him that he will have heart issues later in life due to the stress that he endured with his heart rate being elevated for so long (he had a 180+ heart rate for 4 days straight).

Go buy a gallon of white vinegar. It will do the trick and will not harm you or your family.
