Had a customer purchase a pair of rx suns the other day. Simple job but he was sitting around -6.25 so we wanted to minimize thickness. This was a match tint job and I have had experience with having difficulty tinting high index lenses. Since I am new to the job I was feeling gung ho and ordered a lens that was advertised as 1.6 and Tintable. Left the damned thing in the tint bath for an entire day and couldn't get it passed a density of about 1.
Why would they advertise this lens as tintable?
