    Easy Clip-on's patent expired?

    I just heard their patent for magnetic clip-on was expired... Is that real?

    Here you can check it yourself.............I found a site listing tons of clip on patents..............

    ?? With so many lines offering mag clip sets, I wonder, what's so special about their patented clip-on??

    Yes, the first and original magnetic clip patent is expired....in 1987 i think!

    Wonderful Optical in Taiwan (Mr. David Chow) applied another patent with improvement in 1998 and sold the patent right to a Canadian company and now both of them sue people for living.:shiner:

    According to Mr. David Chow, his current "invention" would cover the first expired patent plus "new improvement". He sold his patent right to a Canadian company who loves to sue anyone offers frames with "magnetic clips" for any reason. :hammer:
