we have founf the compression mountings easiest to work with.both in the lab and out front for the world reknown frame benders.
Maybe you should send the patient to the nearest service station if you like tools like Vice grips and consider gauges in a new frame normal.
How come that old timers learned and are able to mount rimless drill frames even with thick or thin glass ...............never mind mentioning lens materilas you consider as safe for drilling.
