ugh, I know! I think I might take Jubilee's advice though and start sending the VSP-Definity jobs directly to Omega rather than using my usual Essilor lab. It makes more sense to just cut off the middle man, especially when we're doing a lot of Definity lenses now.

The real problem is getting a definity pair through italee... I think it took at least a month for two pairs recently!:drop:

their lab is pretty much the worst anyway. we have such a hard time with them. but patients really like the swissflex *grumble* try using their in house AR instead of avance, it might speed it up!

I'm with Fezz, if turnaround times are an issue - why not use something else? There's too much good product out there to stay so faithful to slow turnaround.

We use DBL and get great turnaround times. It's one day to ship each way and it's rare for anything to take more than a week.

is this a particular problem with the Definity lenses?
